Program: Dryden Site - District Peer Support Program

Description of Services: Provides support to individuals and families affected by mental health issues and have identified the need for peer support from someone who has experienced a mental illness and is knowledgeable of mental health and social services
Services provided include:
  • Peer and family peer support
  • Educational sessions and training seminars
  • Regional consumer and family conferences
  • Eight-session Family Information Support Program
  • Referral and advocacy services
Educational training can include:
  • Anti-Stigma Education
  • Hearing Voices that are distressing
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)

Eligibility - Population(s) Served:
  • Individuals 18 years of age and older who have a personal mental health issue or have experienced one in the past

  • Family members of individuals with a mental health issue
Application: Intake assessment required
