The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has six branch offices throughout the Thunder Bay District, serving Thunder Bay, Greenstone, Manitouwadge, Marathon, Red Rock, and Terrace Bay, and surrounding areas.
Book a vaccination appointment through the provincial online booking system here
If you cannot book online, you can call the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900. Hours of operation are 8 am-8 pm daily.
Pharmacy Vaccination Appointments: Interested individuals can visit the COVID-19 Pharmacy Vaccine Locations website to find a participating pharmacies and contact information.
Accommodations for Homebound Individuals, those with anxiety around needles/immunizations, and those who require a sensory-friendly atmosphere

  • Open to individuals in both the city of Thunder Bay and in the District communities

  • pregnant, want to become pregnant soon after vaccination, or breastfeeding

  • have an autoimmune disorder or weakened immune system due to illness or treatment; or

  • have a bleeding problem, bruise easily
