Description of Services:	Operate a voluntary, administrative court procedure for individuals who are involved in the court system as a result of a mental health crisis Provides consultation to the Crown Supports and encourages the client's growth by creating a community based diversion plan works directly with individuals and links them to mental health services in the community Diversion plans normally last for six months and when successfully completed, can result in a withdrawal of the original charges

Eligibility - Population(s) Served:	Individuals 12 years of age and older Individuals with a low to medium criminal offence whose mental health needs can be better met through services based in the community Individuals must be willing to engage in the diversion agreement

Application:	Referrals can come from a variety of sources Contact a Court Diversion worker for more information
