Hospital-based outpatient day program with a focus on amputee rehabilitation * interdisciplinary team helps patients move about or walk with a prosthesis, practice functional activities of daily living, and learn management of life with a prosthesis Progression level of rehabilitative care for patients working to restore or maximize functionality |

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: | Adults with recent amputations * must have a sitting tolerance of 2 hours * must have independence in standing pivot transfers * must have desire and motivation to use a prosthesis * residual limb must be in a condition to allow prosthetic fitting | ||
Application: | Medical referral required * assessment required to determine readiness to participate | ||
