Program: Outpatient Mental Health Services

Description of Services: Mental Health Services provides assessment and treatment for people with serious mental health problems and their families to decrease suffering and improve quality of life * provides leadership and expertise in the assessment, stabilization and treatment of individuals and their families with serious mental health concerns * emphasizes sound clinical treatment with therapeutic interventions to optimize level of mental health functioning.

Made up of six multidisciplinary clinical teams that provide specialized yet integrated and coordinated services: Adult Outpatient Program, Adult Inpatient Program, Family and Youth Clinic, Schizophrenia Clinic, Psychiatric Assessment Services for the Elderly and the Family and Youth Clinic and Regional Community Treatment Order Program.

Services available include:

  • Group therapy
  • Crisis intervention
  • Psychological testing
  • Psychiatry consultation
  • Community advocacy
  • Community links
