Description of Services: The Scarborough Hospital (TSH) Sexual Assault Care Centre and Domestic Violence Program provides medical attention and emotional support to teenage and adult victims of sexual assault.

Emergency response is available at all (Birchmount, General and Centenary) hospital sites. Services available:
  • 24-hour emergency care
  • Counselling
  • Crisis intervention
  • Medical care
  • Forensic care (documentation and evidence collection)
  • Risk assessment and appropriate safety planning
  • Referral to community resources

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Female/Male/Transgendered individuals over 12 years-old, who have been sexually assaulted or experienced intimate partner violence.
