Progression level of rehabilitative care for patients working to restore or maximize functionality
Requirements
Fees: Most services covered by OHIP
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults with recent amputations * must have a sitting tolerance of 2 hours * must have independence in standing pivot transfers * must have desire and motivation to use a prosthesis * residual limb must be in a condition to allow prosthetic fitting
Application: Medical referral required * assessment required to determine readiness to participate
